What Do I Do Now???

The City has marked a portion of my sidewalk - What is that all about?

The City of Celina has an Annual Sidealk Program.  Every Spring walks are marked in a quadrant of the City known as Ward I, II, III, or IV.  The sidewalks marked are scheduled for repair/replacement due to current or projected safety issues such as a raised area of a walk or other issues that can now or will soon cause a hazard when walking in the area marked.

One Ward is addressed per year. If you find your walk marked you will be contacted by the City by certified letter as to why the walk was marked and an estimated cost for the City to replace the marked section.

You will have 75 days to do the repairs or hired them done by a contractor. If after that time the repairs are not finished the City will have their awarded contractor do the work. You will be billed for this work when the work in the Ward  is complete.

Should you have any questions regarding this program please call the Engineering Department at 419-586-1144.
